Ullapool itself is thriving ferry port for travel between the Outer Hebrides and mainland Scotland and during the summer season day trips are an entirely feasible possibility. So beyond the usual general sight-seeing, walking, climbing, kayaking, cycling, fishing, shooting (both of these latter in the appropriate seasons) and wild swimming Ullapool has its own Theatre and Leisure centre, innumerable eateries including fine dining at the 3 rosette Dipping Lugger. Sea trips on the Summer Queen run daily during the season to spot local wildlife, bicycle hire is available within the village where there are local guides and you could even do an art course at Bridgehouse Art which many do and harbour dreams of exhibiting in a local gallery of which there are a number.
There are a wealth of opportunities available to suit the needs of most travellers and if you wish to join their number we would be delighted to welcome you to stay at our beautifully appointed home.
